1. Browns – Myles Garrett DE Texas A&M

Best player in the draft. There’s been talk of Trubisky, but I just don’t see the Browns going away from the best player coming out. The only question in Garrett is he did most of his work vs lesser competition, but that’s nit picking. He’s a dominant player and no brainer #1 pick

2. 49ers – Mitchell Trubisky QB North Carolina

Mitchell Trubisky looks to be the first quarterback off the board in April's NFL Draft

Steve Helber/AP

Cousins would be nice for the 49ers, but the Redskins have said they are not trading him this year. You can’t bank on landing Cousins next

year, too much can change and too risky. New GM Jon Lynch and new HC Kyle Shannahan get their QB of the future to build with.

3. Bears – Jamal Adams S LSU

Bears add a future cornerstone of their secondary with Adams. Adams ran a 4.45 at his pro day and has show the ability to cover the entire field as a safety. He’s a great player and an even better team leader. John Fox will be thrilled.

4. Jaguars – Jonathan Allen DL Alabama

New executive vice president of football operations Tom Coughlin likes his teams tough in the trenches, he won 2 Super Bowls with dominant play by his DL  Jonathan Allen had 14.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks and 16 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks the last two years at Alabama. That is ridic production from your DT and he could be a dominant piece for a young and potentially scary Jaguars defense.

5. Titans – Marshon Lattimore CB OSU

Releasing Jason Mccourty made it more clear the Titans need secondary help bad. The Titans need a play maker on offense as well as secondary help, and with two picks in the first 18 picks, might as well grab the best of the bunch in a deep CB draft.

6. Jets – Leonard Fournette RB LSU

The Jets are in full rebuild mode. What better way to help young Petty or Hackenberg than to give them a running game. The Jets won’t have to overuse Fournette early either with an aging Forte still on the team and an excellent 3rd down back in Bilal Powell.

7. Chargers – Reuben Foster LB Alabama

Anthony Lynn and Gus Bradley are bringing the 4-3 defense with them to LA. Foster gives them an anchor for that defense for years to come. Foster is a 3 down LB who’s real physical hitter.

8. Panthers – Dalvin Cook RB Flordia State

Cam needs more weapons and Cook is and explosive runner. With an aging and oft injured Jonathan Stewart on the team, the Panthers go with the best all around back in the draft in my opinion.

9.Bengals – Corey Davis WR Western Michigan

The Bengals take the first WR off the board to give their $96M QB more weapons. Davis is the best WR in the draft in my opinion after breaking the FBS record for career receiving yards. Could be a perfect compliment next to AJ Green.

10. Bills – John Ross WR Washington

Speed speed speed. I don’t know if you heard, but John Ross broke the combine 40 record and the Bills need to get a WR opposite Sammy Watkins. With Tyrod at QB, Watkins and Ross at WR, Shady at RB, this is going to be one fast offense in Buffalo

11.Saints – Solomon Thomas DE Stanford

The Saints have said how they are focusing on rebuilding their defense. Thomas was PFF’s best run defender in college football last year while also posting 8.5 sacks. Thomas is a great all around DE to pair with Cameron Jordon.

12.Browns – Malik Hooker S OSU

Browns keep building this defense with the best ball hawk in the draft. Argument can be made that Hooker is a better safety prospect than Jamal Adams who i have going 3rd. Hooker had 7 INTs in his final season for OSU and gets to stay close to school with the Browns.

13.Cardinals – Mike Williams WR Clemson

Larry Fitz, although still productive, is getting old. They need a replacement and Williams is a good large red zone target. Williams can play the outside in 3WR sets for the Cardinals and learn a ton from Fitz in before taking over once Ftiz retires.

14. Eagles – Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama

Eagles need CB help, especially when they’ll be facing Odell Beckham Jr, Dez Bryant, and Terrell Pryor 2x each this year. Humphrey is a solid corner who was in debate to be a top 10 pick not too long ago.

15. Colts – Christian McAffrey RB Stanford

McAffrey is a dynamic RB who can line up in the backfield or out wide. His speed and ability on the turf in Lucas Oil would be so fun to watch. Teaming up with another Stanford alum Andrew Luck will add another element to a dangerous Colts offense.

16. Ravens – Cam Robinson OT Alabama

The first OT off the board doesn’t come until the 16 pick. The Ravens lost starting RT Ricky Wagner in Free Agency and get his replacement to tandem with last years first rounder Ronnie Stanley.

17. Redskins – Patrick Mahomes QB Texas Tech

This is a pick I haven’t seen mocked anywhere and i think could be a surprise move by the Rwords. They obviously don’t want to pay Cousins a long term deal even though he’s proved for 2 straight years he can sling and deserves to get paid. Cousins is content gambling on himself yet again and this will motivate him more than ever to play lights out again. Mahomes could use a year to sit and learn the NFL game, so it’s a perfect situation for him and Washington.

18. Titans – OJ Howard TE Alabama

OJ Howard talent level could be considered top 10but only one TE has been selected top 10 in the last decade. The Titans have Delanie Walker, but he is getting up there in age and the Titans can use more weapons for an up and coming Mariota.

19. Buccaneers – Derek Barnett DE Tennessee

Barnett in my opinion is the best pass rusher in the draft. He broke Reggie White’s school record for sacks, recording at least 9 sacks in all 3 years in the SEC. Would be a huge grab for the Bucs defense.

20. Broncos – Garrett Bolles OT Utah

The Broncos need OL help in the worst way. Boles is one nasty SOB. He plays to the whistle can beat people up. He has a bit of a rough past and will be 25 by the time the season starts, but he may be the best LT prospect in the draft.

21. Lions – Hassan Reddick LB Temple

I really like Hassan Roddick. He came to temple as a CB and then ended up switching to LB before switching to DL. Size wise he is best suited as a LB in the NFL and has the ability to do it all rushing the passer and dropping back and covering.

22. Dolphins – Taco Charlton DE Michigan

The Dolphins can use more help on the DL next to Suh and Wake. Both Wake and William Hayes are over 30 and the Dolphins could use the infusion of youth on the DL.

23. GIANTS – Ryan Ramczyk OT Wisconsin

Ok, I’m a Giants fan so this may be a little longer. Honestly i’m not a huge fan of this OL class this year. The Giants could use OL help in the worst way though. They brought in DJ Fluker who was a former first rounder that didn’t get his 5th year option picked up by the Chargers, who may have a worse OL situation than the Giants. Ramczyk was a Juco transfer who spent 2 years at Wisconsin and was an All American LT in his only year he played at Wisconsin. He did have hip surgery recently, but he was able to play all year with the hip issue and should be good to go by OTAs. Ramczyk has great footwork and has the ability to play either the right or left tackle position. He would be a day 1 starter for he Giants, but I wouldn’t expect the Giants to throw him into the fire at LT as a rookie, as we saw how bad that can go with Ereck Flower, so i can see them sliding him in at RT until Ramczyk shows he’s better than Flowers (i know everyones thinking “shouldn’t be that hard lol)

Short Version:

The Giants can use OL help in the worst way. i think the injury concerns are a little overblown because Rmaczyk finished the season with the injury and should be back in time for OTAs. Ramczyk was a Juco transfer who spent 2 years at Wisconsin and was an All American LT in his only year he played at Wisconsin. Ramczyk has great footwork and has the ability to play either the right or left tackle position. Could be a day 1 starter for the Giants.

24. Raiders – Zach Cunningham LB Vanderbilt

The Raiders offense is loaded. The only thing that could potentially hold them back is their defense. Cunningham is a 3 down LB who is great at shedding blockers and is good at covering RBs out of the back field and dropping into zone. Missed tackles are a real concern, missing a tackle every 9.7 attempts, but even with those missed tackle Cunningham had 125 tackles last year. He’s in on every play.

25. Texans – Deshaun Watson QB Clemson

The Texans need a QB in the worst way. And they get blessed by having Watson fall all the way to 25. This is a good situation for him to come into and he could possibly start for them from day 1. (Would not surprise me in the least to see the Texans trade up to make sure they get him if Watson does fall.)

26. Seahawks – Forest Lamp OL Western Kentucky

Lamp is the most versatile OL prospect in the draft with the ability to come in and start at OG or OT right away. He reminds me of Justin Pugh with his ability to play multiple positions. He projects to be a better OG, but could start out at OT if needed as well.

27. Chiefs – Deshone Kizer QB Notre Dame

Alex Smith will be 33 by the start of the season, and although he’s been a very solid QB for the Chiefs, He hasn’t exactly lit up the scoreboard either. Kisser has tremendous potential and could use the schooling from Alex Smith before taking the reigns in the next few years.

28.Cowboys – Takkarist McKinley DE UCLA

Cowboys had 21 free agents this year, including 7 starters on defense. They could use the pass rush across from Demarcus Lawrence.

29. Packers – Jarrad Davis LB Florida

Davis arguably could be rated as better than Cunningham and Roddick, who both went before him. Injury issues force him to slide and the Packers are happy he does. Davis flies all around the field and is a 3 down LB.

30. Steelers – Jabril Peppers S/LB Michigan

The versatile Peppers is the perfect fit for the Steelers defense. He’s a tweeter safety and LB that could be used as exactly that in the Steelers defense. And how often is it possible to say your starting LB is your starting kick returner. Kid can do it all.

31. Falcons – Charles Harris DE Missouri

The Falcons boasted the far and away best offense in the NFL last year and they were one defensive stop away from winning the Super Bowl (sorry for bringing it up Falcons fans). Harris is a terrific pass rusher that can help stack that Falcons D and give them a deadly pass rush with Beasley and Harris.

32. Saints – Gaeron Conley CB OSU

The Saints continue the rebuild of their defense with Conley. Pretty crazy to think that two Ohio State CBs could go in the first round, but they are both just that good. Thomas and Conley is a nice haul for the Saints rebuilding defense.
